Father's Day

Aidan helping Daddy mow the lawn on Father's Day

The cool Chicago Cubs gift basket that we got for my Dad and Thom's Dad...it had peanuts from Wrigley Field, cracker jacks, sunflower seeds, Chicago Cubs plastic tumbler, can of Coke and a Chicago Cub vinyl window cling all in a Cubs hat! Both Dads are Cubs fans and really got a kick out of this basket! Doesn't hurt that the Cubs are doing well either!!!

My famous spaghetti salad
I know...it doesn't have spaghetti. You see, when it was first made by my mother (or maybe it was my sister Debbie) so many years ago it had spaghetti instead of rotini. I thought it would be easier to eat so I have used rotini every time I make it, but have never renamed the dish. It's a winner either way!!!

You need to post the recipe for that salad. It looks wonderful!

Where did you get the Cubs stuff? My husband is a HUGE Cubs fan, and his birthday is this Sunday.
