Mother's Day

Certainly not my favorite holiday, but this Mother's Day was a very nice day. I started the day out alone in the early morning blogging which was amazing! Haven't been able to get to the computer in ages. Then my hubby made me my ever favorite eggs benedict for breakfast and the kids gave me a very funny Hoops and Yo Yo card with some super cool gerbera daisies...also my fave. Sat around, drank my coffee, read the paper until it was time to go pickup Thom's mom and dad to take them to a mid-day meal. We went to the Waters Edge Restaurant in Hesston (highly recommend). It is a super nice buffet which has carved meats, omelette and waffle station, a terrific salad bar, desserts galore! All thirteen of us were at the same table which was so nice and rarely happens. Such a nice time! Then finished the day out by watching the Survivor Finale which stunk because Parv won - not that I was crazy about Amanda, but Parv?! Really?!
