Brothers and Sisters

The first day of our trip was pretty lazy which was great! I still can't believe that the above picture happened. They are usually beating each other up or telling on each other. Speaking of which...the below picture is of Quinn's fractured finger! The first HOUR that we had arrived at my sister's house Aidan smacked Quinn's hand with a baseball bat. The finger swelled and she complained that it hurt, so we taped it up with a splint and put ice on it. Here is my "bad mom" story Jenn L... each day Quinn continued to get upset that her finger still hurt and the swelling just wasn't going down. Knowing how dramatic she can be about everything, I told her that we would tape it back up and basically shut up about it. When we got home five days later and the swelling still had not gone down Thom took her to the doctor...it was fractured! All that time I ignored her pleas of pain!!! Good news is that we did exactly what the doctor would have done so all is actually well. Quinn was even excited about it! She gleefully thanked Aidan and he said "your welcome, Quinn". Crazy stuff.
